  • Asylum was intense

Good times are always memorable and the time spent at carnival of horrors is one of them. This I felt was one of the best and you get to enjoy four attractions in one. My pick is the insane asylum. It is confusing and had infinite turns and dead ends and you have to face the psychotic inmates. The actors were a niche apart. They knew their act well and executed it with perfect timing. It is a high energy maze and is quite hard to find your way out that adds to the adrenaline. Will mark my calendar next year.

  • Email Verified Insane asylum was terrific

Carnival of Horrors have four haunted houses offering four unique experiences. Walking in the woods was fun. You can’t anticipate the jump scares. One of the actors was on his fours, and he ran up to my GF scaring her out of her wits. My favourite was the insane asylum. It was filled with smoke that made the actor’s antics effective. The confusing fenced maze however eventually lead you to the exit. The 3D stairs in freakshow made us laugh. Fun house was the scariest. It had both of us on our toes. As a fan of haunted houses, I will recommend this haunt to all scare seekers.

  • Email Verified Haunted fun house is worth visiting again

It is one of the best haunts I have ever visited and the scariest is the chainsaw evil clowns you find in haunted fun house. The makeup and attire are perfect and the actors are great in the way they present the whole act. This is quite a high intensity act and the most frightening of all. The 3d haunt house was equally good. We were given a chroma depth 3d glasses. We could see the floors, walls and every monster come alive in 3d format. It was such an interesting experience. Surely revisiting sometime next year.

  • Email Verified Freakshow tests your senses

I and GF visited Carnival of Horrors and we returned fully satisfied with the experience. Fun House was freaking scary. The mazes and trick doors will confuse you, and the scares come on top of that. Finding the way out in Wicked Woods was interesting. I was holding the flashlight, so I was more in control. Of course, my GF screamed few times. The psychedelic rooms in Freakshow tests your senses. Getting fooled into climbing 3D stairs had us laughing. The set design was awesome, and the actors were all professional. Recommend this place to everyone.

  • Genuinely frightening experience

Carnival of Horrors provide a genuinely frightening experience. It has four houses, out of which the fun house was the scariest. It features several trick doors, mazes and diversions and many creepy looking actors waiting to scare you out of your wits. Some of them will even chase you. The wicked woods also has many hidden scares. Each group is given one flashlight and they got to find the exit. Until you find the way out, you’re easy meat to the scare actors. The insane asylum was scary too. In the Freakshow, you’ll find it tough to differentiate between props and actors. It had the least scare factor, and it was more fun. I am planning to bring my kids along next time.

  • Email Verified Waited in line 930pm-1am. Rushed through by staff.

Waited in line for almost 4 hours and once we finally made it in the houses, not many staff. It seemed 1 am was too late for most of them. The staff we did encounter, especially in the asylum, stood there and just pointed the way out. Terrible experience. They should stop selling tickets at a certain point and definitely let the customers know the wait time BEFORE they pay for their tickets. Bad service, bad experience, just bad overall.

  • Terrifying experience

Haunted woods has always been invigorating and this one had it all. We had the most fearful moments of our lives at this place. Most of us wander away in the dark and you left in your own to fend with the monsters lurking in the darkness. The actors watch and know when to strike. They create a fear in you. There is no way you could tell what is in store and this suspense is great. Dark and terrifying and when you manage to come out it is a sigh of relief. It was an unforgettable ordeal and love to face it again.

  • Email Verified 3D stairs was fun

I and my teenage daughters visited the haunted houses in Carnival of Horrors and we had a blast. Even though they screamed while negotiating the Fun House, things settled later on. They’d held their ground in the woods when a scare actor screamed at them. The fog maze house was entertaining. The kids liked the Freakshow and the unreal environment it provides the most. 3D stairs was especially fun. The $25 ticket price was reasonable I felt. The staff were helpful. Check it out if you are in Ohio for vacation.
